If you ever want to sit outside, relax, people-watch, and enjoy a cold or hot beverage, The Netherlands is a wonderful place to do so. The central square of each city is littered with outdoor cafes catering to these desires. Amsterdam's other variety of "coffee houses" are less prominent but can be found either by trial-and-error or with a keen sense of smell! I'm told they serve the finest weeds from around the world; I however only experienced the secondhand smoke... And no, I didn't inhale.
