We lived with Fijian families in a rural Fijian village called Navunimono during the first several weeks of our training. Living in Navunimono was one of the most memorable experiences of my life. While village life is more basic than anything I had previously experienced (no electricity, no indoor plumbing or flush toilets), it was one of the most enjoyable times in Fiji.
